This Path is For You

If you were like me not so long ago, he who lived in a purely material world, devoid of spirit and that which was ruled by possession, beauty, and wealth. And who didn’t feel limitless amounts of love, joy, or prosperity, then I might have some answers for you.

I have nothing against material possessions, beauty, and today. In fact, there is nothing wrong with any of those things. In fact there is nothing wrong with anything really. I just didn’t have a healthy relationship to them. My relationship was one of neediness and so I was willing to go to great lengths to acquire possessions, be noticed by beauty, accumulate wealth. And while the stories of grasping make for interesting conversation, they also put me and those I love at great risk when someone was able to use my desires against me. And did the world ever.

But for me, something has shifted. And the world has become a mirror. And for that I feel an opportunity to create this offering for those among us that aren’t quite sure about a different path yet. Maybe you have an inkling that something is off, or that something is missing. Maybe, like prior versions of myself, you just aren’t as happy as you think you should be. Fear not, I can help you when you are ready to be helped, and take solace in the fact that you can be more happy, you can have more love to give others. And if you aren’t ready for those gifts yet then also fear not. And enjoy the ride until you do feel the calling to step into a new journey.

If your experience is anything like mine, there are already invitations in your life to change, and those invitations will only grow louder. And if you are as oblivious as I was to the invitations, the invitation becomes deafening. So don’t worry if you aren’t ready to take action yet, because the only person that can truly help you is you. I can’t help you. I can only walk by your side along the path. My invitation to you is to just love yourself along the way (because at the end of the day that might actually be the most important lesson and one that took me 4 decades to figure out).
