Failure and Recommitment

There is a quote attributed to Mark Twain that I love which is basically “I didn’t have time to write you a short letter, so I wrote a long one instead.” This always resonated with me and I have a lot of resistance to just throwing ideations onto this page as I think there is already an unhealthy relationship to content in this world and I know which side I am aligned with.

Recently however I have experienced a softening and realize that perhaps there is value in streaming ideas on here and letting you sift through what feels alive and aligned in you. In truth I am still not even sure what I want my role to be in the remembering of our true essence of creation but for now at least I hope that I can help stir something in others, no matter how subtle.

A word of caution through another quote, this time one I cannot even attribute this one to anyone in particular. I was reading about Yoga and it essentially said that if you use it to perfect the body, then you will (my original plan). But if you use it to expand your consciosuness, then you will (never on my radar). So I will say this at the start. If you are just here for infotainment and distraction, I am probably a good enough communicator that you will find that need met here. And, if you are are here with an open mind and a curious heart, then I hope things will come alive for you as is my deepest wish. I am here to walk by your side. The work to be done is yours and yours alone.

So with that invitation, I feel safe to write about attachment each time a new thread surfaces and allow some articles to conflict, misdirect or even confuse. After all, the story I believe in is that we are all god just working ourselves out through consciousness.
